UTIKA – 2005 WAHO Trophy Winner – Czech Republic

The mare Utika was awarded the 2005 WAHO trophy for the Czech Republic, because she was placed in the Top Five in 1994 at the European Championships in Austria. She was the first Arabian horse ever to represent Czech and Czechoslovakian Arabian Horse Breeding in the show ring abroad. She is also a very high quality broodmare, all her descendants are included in the breeding of Arabian horses in the Czech Republic and all of them are very good riding horses.

Utika was elected as our 2005 WAHO Trophy winner by majority vote of the members of our Association for Purebred Arabian Horses – ACHPAK.

We congratulate the breeder of the winning mare, the famous Topolcianky State Stud. We also congratulate the owner of Utika, MUDr. Cizek Frantisek, and we would like to also thank him for the establishment and improvement of the breeding of Arabian horses in our country.
