AL-MARAH ARABIAN HORSE GALLERIES, U.S.A.:

The Purebred Arabian Trust announced that on 12th June 2010 the Opening Ceremonies took place for this exciting new permanent exhibit at the International Museum of the Horse in Lexington, Kentucky, United States of America. The  Arabian Horse Gallery is an exciting exhibit that utilizes both interactive technology and historical art and artifacts to teach visitors about the history of the Arabian horse. Beginning with the earliest domestication of the Arabian in the Middle East, the exhibit follows the breed through history as it spread across the world to Europe and eventually, the United States.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Located in Lexington, the 1,229-acre Kentucky Horse Park is the only park in the world devoted to man’s relationship with the horse. The only facility of its kind in the world, the International Museum of the Horse is dedicated to educating the general public—as well as the equestrian and academic communities—about the relationship between man and the horse throughout history and in various cultures. There are permanent exhibitions as well as living horses and many other attractions.
