The Arab Horse Society of South Africa is proud to announce that the horse selected to receive the 2005 WAHO trophy was the beautiful grey stallion Shaheer Prince Cyclone (Thee Cyclone x Sidi Bint Malika). With many wins and championships in halter classes, this athletic young stallion is not just a pretty face, excelling under saddle and a consistent winner and multi-champion in the highly competitive ridden and performance classes in South Africa. Shaheer Pince Cyclone has won 14 Victor Ludorums in the showring.

The award was made at the 2006 South African National Championships Show.
