MALIKA – 2010 WAHO Trophy Winner – Kazakhstan

The Kazakh Association of Purebred Arabian Horses has awarded their 2010 WAHO trophy to the filly Malika. Her sire Kair (2001, by Adres out of Oaks winner Koldunia) was imported from Tersk Stud in 2007, having raced for 2 seasons in Moscow and Pyatigorsk, where he won 3 handicaps and was placed in 7 Group races. He was also regional show champion at the Open North Caucasian Competition Show in 2004. Malika’s dam Moldir was also bred by Azhar Farm, by Prikaz (1978), one of the best stallions from the Korej sire-line in Russia, out of the Mascat daughter, Mnimaia. Moldir took part in races over long distances in Kazakhstan.
