The Kazakh Association of Purebred Arabian Horses is pleased to announce that the winner of their 2019 WAHO Trophy is the excellent stallion, Magip.

Magip’s sire Pont (Narmat / Pompa) was bred at LLC “Oros” in Russia, he was a successful racehorse and as a breeding stallion passed on the desired qualities of excellent movement and good working capacity inherited from his sire and the harmony, type and elegance inherited from his dam. Magip’s dam Maggi (Banan / Motka) was born in Kazakhstan, she has many famous ancestors in her pedigree from Tersk and Khrenovoe Studs in Russia and Janow Podlaski Stud in Poland.

Magip did not race, but he has successfully taken part in show classes. He started his breeding career in 2017, and so far he has produced two promising colts from the imported mare Vishenka Tersk. It is hoped he will prove to be an important sire for Kazakhstan in the future.
