The Norwegian Arab Horse Association (NAHF) is pleased to announce that the 2010 WAHO Trophy has been awarded to the stallion Kamal for being an outstanding representative of the Arabian breed.
He has excelled both nationally and internationally with great show results. Among other excellent
results, he is two times National Champion, multi class winner and is awarded several “The Most
Classic Head” titles. He has participated in several Championships whereas he once got awarded the
Best in Show title.
He is the first Norwegian born Arabian horse to represent Norway in a World Championship. He
placed 10th in his class and was only 1,25 points from winning the title Best Straight Egyptian 2007.
He has also shown great abilities within breeding e.g., in the NAHF Futurity Cup of 2008. Out of 20 participating yearlings, three of his offsprings placed at the top 10. Kamal is also regularly ridden and has shown great dressage abilities.
Because of his great results and offsprings, he received extensive international attention. At the
moment, he is leased by Claverdon Stud and Mrs. Joanne Lowe as a breeding stallion.
