ALKA – 2007 WAHO Trophy Winner – Lithuania

The Lithuanian National Association of Arabian Horse Breeders is pleased to announce that they have awarded their 2007 WAHO Trophy to the mare Alka. Descending from the great foundation broodmare, Taktika, Alka has been recognized as the winner of many stockbreeding exhibitions. Furthermore, her offspring are highly evaluated. Alka is the dam of the outstanding stallion, Abatas, winner of Lithuania’s 2006 WAHO Trophy.

The 2007 WAHO Trophy was presented during the Lithuanian Arabian Horse Show. It was awarded by Ms. Laima Ciceniene, Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Arabian Horse Breeders, watched by many respected guests and participants of the show. The Trophy for Alka was received by Mr. Stasys Svetlauskas, Director of Vilnius Stud Farm.
