The AVS are proud to award the 2025 WAHO trophy to a very versatile Arabian show, sport and broodmare. Forelock’s Yzadora.
From the Society
With her owner, Wendy Delvalle, she has competed in many Aljassimya Amateur Challenges, both domestically and internationally. She won all her Junior classes and was awarded Best in Show Amateur in all of them.
In between, she competed in National C shows and National Championship shows, where she performed exceptionally well and almost always achieved the highest score among the Junior fillies. Her movement is exceptional, and that’s why she received the award for Best Movement at the 2019 National inspection.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she only competed at the 2020 National inspection. The results were undeniable and Yzadora, along with Wendy, became National Gold Champion in the Senior mare category. But that wasn’t enough; she was named Best Bred Dutch Horse of 2020!
A true icing on the cake after everything that had happened and all the work they both put in over the past two years.
In 2021, Yzadora was broken in and occasionally ridden by Ryann van Hielten, who actually rode her mother. They competed in dressage together for fun and the points started rolling in.
In September 2021 Suzanne van Leeuwen continued training in Western sports.
This proved to be a fantastic duo and they started competing together in 2022.
It was very successful!

Yzadora is now 9 years old and has had four foals.
2020 Forelock’s Yordan by SMA Magic One, exported to Slovakia
2021 Forelock’s Yza’Dhor by AJ Portofino, exported to Kuwait. Forelock’s Yza’Dhor became National Gold Champion in 2021.

Yzadora received the Ster predicate in 2023.
In 2025 Forelock’s Yzadora received her performance predicate for Western Pleasure.
