Following their recent meeting, it is with great regret that the Executive Committee of WAHO make the following announcement.
After more than 30 years of unswerving commitment to this Organization and to the Arabian horse world-wide, Jay W. Stream has taken the decision to retire from the office of WAHO President at the end of 2003. The Executive Committee are very pleased that he has agreed to accept the honorary title of President Emeritus, so they may continue to call upon his wisdom and experience in the future.
The Executive Committee have pledged to uphold everything that WAHO stands for and to stay faithful to the values and beliefs of our Organization and to the spirit of international trust and co-operation which, under Jay’s leadership, the Members of WAHO have developed over the years. Above all, this includes absolute dedication to the principle of the WAHO Definition, which is the cornerstone of all we do.
Our January 2004 Newsletter will be dedicated to Jay Stream. Your contributions to an article about him would be most welcome. Please send these to the WAHO Office.
