PRESS RELEASE ARABIAN HORSE LEGACY ANNOUNCES MAJOR WEBSITE ENHANCEMENT Site Provides Access to Information of Benefit to Arabian horse enthusiasts.
March 25, 2008 - Arabian Horse Legacy Inc. (AHL) announces a major enhancement to the organization’s website www.earabhorse.com that gives individuals access to one of the largest, most complete and diverse media available anywhere in the world about the Arabian horse breed. Click here for more information. As an Affiliate to this site, if you access from this WAHO website it will be of great benefit to us. Thank you.
“The information now available provides an unparalleled resource giving the Arabian horse owners and newcomers the ability to make better decisions based on facts and data,” says Ferman Ansel, chief executive officer and co-owner with wife Christine, of Arabian Horse Legacy, Inc. based in Boise, Idaho. “From breed enthusiasts to the casual observer, the information available on the website enables people to get information that will help them better appreciate, breed, buy and or sell Arabian horses.”
This first-of-its-kind “equine media store” places a vast amount of never-before seen interviews, first-person accounts by world-renowned experts and film or video footage and photographs of many thousands of significant Arabian horses, both historical and current. There are also documentary recordings of many important Arabian horse events world-wide, from USA to Turkey to Syria to Poland and more.
The library presents information in a variety of mediums—video, audio, print and still photos—to appeal to users in formats they use and understand. And, as a web resource, users worldwide have access to the information at any time, from a variety of devices, and in some instances in multiple languages. This is the initial launch of this material and new content will be added to the site often.
Information is accessed on a pay-per-use basis, with multiple options of purchasing, giving users a “license” to view content as they wish. Prices begin at $6.95 for a single plus “bonus” view with programs running from one to two hours in length. “Customers prefer good value and on this site they can view the information for a fraction of the transaction before we added this store,” says Ansel. “We also offer information grouped in sets enabling a customer to select just the information they want at the time.”
Development of this site has been achieved with considerable input and support from the Arabian horse industry and its affiliated organizations worldwide. The Arabian Horse Legacy has announced a revenue-sharing arrangement that provides a percentage of revenue from the site to affiliated organizations. With the new site, producers of content will similarly be able to receive part of the revenue each time someone views their content. The availability of material that is entertaining, educational and historical is an invaluable asset to Arabian horse owners, breeders and enthusiasts world-wide.
With an estimated 500,000 registered purebred Arabian horses worldwide, preserving the integrity of Arabian bloodlines is of critical concern to owners, breeders and the numerous organizations formed to support and promote Arabian horses.
